Physical Characteristics:

  1. Two-spore mushrooms have semi-spherical or flat caps, 5-12cm in diameter, in white or light yellow-brown colors with fine brown hairs. The flesh is thick and white or light red. The gills are dense, unequal in length, pink, brown, or dark brown. The stalk ranges from 4.5-9cm long, 1.5-3cm in diameter, off-white color, sometimes with a single layer of ring.
  2. Four-spore mushrooms have flat, semi-spherical caps, sometimes indented in the center, 3-13cm in diameter, white or off-white, smooth or with tufted scales. The flesh is thick and white. The gills are dense, unequal in length, pink, brown, or dark brown. The stalk ranges from 1-9cm long, 0.5-2cm in diameter, white, nearly smooth or slightly hairy, sometimes with a single ring.

Usage and Dosage

Internal Use: Decoction, 6-9g, fresh goods 150-180g.
