Xiao Jin Dan: Usage and Dosage
Ingredients: This traditional remedy is made from 45g each of Styrax, Caowu, Trogopterus dung, Earthworm, and Gourd seeds, and 22.5g each of Myrrh, Angelica sinensis root, and Frankincense, with 9g of Musk and 3.6g of Ink (aged ink made from burnt ink tablets, used after slight heating). These are turned into a fine powder. Sticky rice flour (36g) is used to create a thick paste, mixing with the powders to form about 250 pellets, each the size of a small foxnut, and then dried in the sun.

Administration: Take one pellet with aged wine to induce sweating. In severe cases, take two pellets.

Main Uses: Traditionally used for disorders like rheumatism, phlegm nodules, scrofula, mastitis, lymph node tuberculosis, bone ulcers and tunnel diseases.
