Jiao Ai Tang: Traditional Blood Regulating Remedy
Ingredients and Dosage
Ingredients: 3 liang of processed donkey-hide gelatin, 3 liang of mugwort leaves, 3 liang of peony root, 3 liang of dried rehmannia root, 2 liang of angelica root, 2 liang of dried ginger, 2 liang of ligusticum root, and 2 liang of processed licorice.
Dosage: Chop all ingredients coarsely. Boil in 8 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng. Discard the solid residue, dissolve gelatin in the decoction, and consume in two doses. For weakened individuals, divide into three doses.

Therapeutic Effects
Main Uses: Beneficial for men who have suffered injuries, falls, or internal organ damage. It can alleviate mild cases of spitting blood and severe cases of vomiting blood or internal bleeding from severe cuts. For women, it's helpful post-childbirth or during heavy bleeding episodes, providing relief from weakness, shortness of breath, and persistent abdominal bleeding.
